The next evolution of the net or not? (On the road)
It's Jim Morris here and I'm on the road right now and just really finished processing the last couple of months' events while being away at this wedding here in Lake Tahoe.
In another 48 hours and I'll be in New York at Dr. Mike's Adsense Immersion seminar.
Speaking of seminars about the Internet, I may or may not have mentioned that I went to The System Seminar (http://www.thesystemseminar.com) that was organized by Ken McCarthy and has been going on for (I believe) 6 years.
I met a number of NicheBOT subscribers in Chicago at the conference and a number of people emailed me that would have loved to meet me there.
Now, if you aren't familiar with Ken, he did the first Internet Marketing conference on the potential of the Internet to become a prospering profitable business model.
He put this conference together with Marc Andreesen, the founder of the web browser (Mosaic) and Netscape Navigator.
I consider both of these gentlemen pioneers.
Now. . .
What (Ken) the founder of The System Seminar does is gather as many experts in their respective fields that he can find and brings those outstanding individuals to teach attendees exactly what they do.
There were topics on everything you can imagine from positiong yourself as an expert and blogging with Dave Taylor (http://www.askdavetaylor.com and http://www.intuitive.com) all the way to running a 6-figure business on eBay by Sydney Johnston who basically runs her entire online business on auto-pilot.
It was expert heaven with 23 different staff members there to lecture on their respective topics.
But that is not even the point.
Since I cannot disclose to you the actual guts of the seminar, I can tell you that one of the central themes at the conference seemed to center around the next big wave.
The next wave that even small businesses can use to convert more visitors into buyers.
What am I talking about?
It's about… video!
The fact is that VIDEO is here and there are enough broadband users and bandwidth to support and justify it for webmasters now.
From some statistics shared, which anyone can ultimately look up themselves, there are over 100 million high speed broadband users in the United States alone.
With all the high speed technology in place and the bandwidth to allow it, VIDEO is truly now a possibility and it's showing up all over the internet.
Just last week, I wrote you about Jason James who was fed up with all the information overload with ebooks and PDFs out there.
He decided to change all the information overload into a pure VIDEO site that shows online business owners how other experts do what they do best… but in VIDEO format so you can see it with your own eyes.
And What a brilliant idea. By the way, if you would like to take the video tour to see what that membership is all about, just click the highlighted text to do so.
(I told you that Jason would sell out shortly. He has only 66 spots left last I took a look.)
Then there's Rick Raddatz's hella funny video for his newsletter optin page at…
More and more video sites are popping up all the time.
There are even really fine detailed courses like the one my colleague Jim Edwards created at Website Video Secrets to show webmasters how to take a $250 camera and produce quality video for the web. That's a $795 course and may not fit everyone's budget.
Then my good friend Sam Knoll I met at The System Seminar just recently came out with an important report that reveals how to create video for ZERO out-of-pocket cost…
Google even has their own Video (Beta) search section where you can upload your own video under particular keywords you wish the videos to be found.
You see how important keywords are and how they shape not just positioning your website, but your future videos?
Okay — so that's the theme of what I wanted to impress upon you today.
Video is here and will continue to grow with the chance of even Video Ipod users to simply download your video from the net onto their PC and then move it directly onto their IPODs to watch is a very REAL possibility today.
Those who embrace the technology early on now will be the front runners in grabbing a significant amount of marketshare in their industry by using the technology.
It's a fact — video engages the senses. Reading text must be processed in the mind of the reader, but video is a lot easier to absorb and play over and over again.
If you watched the funny munchie video above, you would have to agree with me that the web page would NOT be the same without the video.
On another topic, I often assign my PR team to go hunt down what goes on in the wild west of the Internet.
Someone brought me back a quote from someone on a forum board that said…
"I like nichebot (the tool) but I gotta say I am getting soooooo tired of those emails "teaching" us stuff…"
First of all, there is a bunch of garbage sent out by S*P*A*M*M*E*R*S all day long that is clogging up the email boxes of several hundred million Internet users.
Second, it only takes on keystroke to delete an email, especially one from NicheBOT.
Third, I take it on as my responsibility to enhance your awareness as a NicheBOT user and educate you about keywords and products that can assist you in your own online business.
Fourth, I go out of my way to create relationships with vendors and obtain special pricing on most anything and everything I can arrange for NicheBOT subscribers.
We also plug in as much value with each email that we send. And there will be an ever-increasing value in the content seen at NicheBOT in the coming months. That much I can guarantee you.
So if you feel oppressed at all by my emails… please… just unsubscribe with the email sent to you and we will delete your NicheBOT keyword basket account or whichever course you may be signed up with.
You will not receive any of our valuable insights into the heart of using keyword knowledge to turn it into PROFITS nor will you receive the important email notice about NicheBOT 2 and the exclusive release to its subscribers.
I really appreciate your attention to this email and your continued patronage as a NicheBOT subcriber.
Best,
Jim Morris, President/CEO

Hi Jim
Thanks for confirming my belief in Video as the next evolution of the net.
We run a child day care nursery for kids in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, UK, and know that kids learn through play…and as Adults the “play†medium for us is Movie or Video Movies, so it makes sense that to learn through video is a highly effective way to greater comprehension.
We have a video interview, on our website now, of a boy named Zak, who had a Great…not just good opportunity, of attending Queen Elizabeth II 80th. Birthday Party, which also celebrated “Children’s Literatureâ€â€¦and was named “The Children’s Party At The Palaceâ€â€¦yes…that’s right…at Buckingham Palace London. We’ll be doing a follow up interview with Zak pretty soon.
That interview is up on video.goole.com too…but boy oh boy…it takes days to upload an eight-minute video clip…and I’m on broadband!
Jim, Rick Radditz…He’s a VERY funny guy…and has some great products. Great optin rate too.

WHAT! Someone is not happy with your emails, teaching us stuff! With all due respect to whom ever it was…â€You NEVER stop learning!†Once you think you know it all…you’re sunk!
I know that from just some of the people around me who…switch off from learning.
We have 3-year-old kids who are like sponges and LOVE to learn new things…never stop learning it will keep you alive!
NicheBot is already great and now Jim, you’re going to make it better! Kudos to you Jim!
I for one will NOT be unsubscribing! Jim you give back much, much more than you take…keep up the good work.
Very Best Regards
Steve Scully
