Are you still struggling to figure out the online maze and what it really takes to get boat loads of traffic to your website without emptying your wallet?

Are you tired of all the technical talk that just leaves your eyes glazed over in a trance?

Are you somewhat familiar with what backlinks are and the power they can give your site in the search engines? (If not, you should take the backlinks mini-course.)

Well then, maybe James Martell is just the guy to set you straight and teach you in a non-techie way how to get things done the right way.

James Martell, a Canadian straight talker that knows how to break things down in easy everyday terms for newbies, is having a 5-Week Backlinks Workshop this July 17, 2007, with yours truly as a special guest during all class sessions.

I'll be there live on the line to add any potential tips and techniques that I may feel are essential for listeners.

This isn't just a listen in and hear a bunch of tips and tricks. This is take you by the hand, finish with a homework assignment each time and finally help you understand how to get backlinks to your site(s) that result in top 10 search engine positions that comes with free targeted traffic to my site. All the details on the Backlinks Workshop are available at:

http://www.the-backlinks-workshop.com

One lucky, qualified person will be picked in the next 24 hours to attend the almost sold out, 5-week Backlinks Workshop together with me as your special guest.

Not only that, as the winner of this outrageously cool summer prize, you will also receive a 1 Hour Master Strategy Telephone Consultation after you finish class and create your plan. After each individual session, we will have a one-half hour review session to review the day's session and really hammer home the major points.

After all 5 classes are over, you will simply submit your entire promotional strategy (I'll even give you a full evaluation questionnaire to help you out, if you need it), and I'll review it and give my own personal recommendations with a full report that I will make sure is out of this world. We'll have a one hour telephone conference that you'll be able to record (or I'll record it for you) which you'll be able to review at your own convenience anytime in the future.

What are the contest rules?

Here they are:

1. One entry per person.

2. You must post a comment down below on this blog entry that describes in 500 words or less why, if I were to pick you, that you would take the information in the Backlinks Workshop and apply it to your current online business efforts.

3. At noon - on July 16, 2007, I will have one of my officers review the answers given below and pick one lucky winner based on the content, passion and excitement with what would be done with the information and what it mean to you and your current situation.

Look forward to hearing your answer and announcing YOUR name as the winner tomorrow.

Goog luck!

Best,

Dane @ Blog Strokes @ 5:20 pm:

Hi Jim,

I'll definitely throw my hat in that ring. I have always struggled with Search traffic. I've always gotten my traffic through primarily blog directories and links and comments on other blogs.

With the recent restructuring I've been doing with my business as a whole on of the things I am fully committed to is developing a linking strategy that will let me add as much Search traffic to my mix as i possibly can.

I've already decided on a couple of activities to try towards this goal, such as submitting to regular directories and writing secondary articles related to my blog posts and submitting those to article directories. Since the new blog is about WordPress and will eventually sell WordPress themes and plugins I also intend to create several free WordPress themes with a credit link in the footer to secure links from blogs that use those themes.

If you select me I guarantee I'll take what I learn and apply it to my blogs which should allow me to develop a larger subscriber base more rapidly and monetize the blogs more quickly.

I would like to attend this workshop because I would like to increase the traffic to my web site and be able to demonstrate that effective backlinks translate directly into increased sales. I have some good content on my site, attractively presented, with affiliate products available, but my traffic and sales are NIL. This will prove to the world if backlinks are valuable, or just another 'sounds good' technique that people will buy.

Bruce Winterbotham @ 5:26 pm:

If I won the James Martel backlinks course I would apply it to the websites I have up and are building to show others that a plan and perseverance is what it takes to succeed online.

My current job barely pays my bills and I have a girlfriend who lives out-of-state I am trying to convince to move locally. I’ve told her that talk is cheap and being able to make my online business profitable would convince both of us that the future we have talked about is possible.

Jutta Fisher @ 5:41 pm:

Aubrey Clark @ 5:49 pm:

My name is Aubrey Clark; I have been an amateur Webmaster for a two years. I work full time as a loan officer for an Atlanta mortgage company. In today's market I need to work 60 + hours per week to support my family. I don’t mind the work, just the time away from them. I believe that I have the drive and determination to move professions and compete on the internet. I am a competitor by nature, but lack the skills needed to make “the big jump”. This is the reason I am writing.

By the time I get home at night I have an hour or so to maintain the websites I have and not much time to learn, market and design. I try to do most of my work on the weekends but having four kids, ages 14 - 10 months my time gets stretched. The only thing that keeps me from working less time away from home and more time at home is my current mediocre results to my online marketing. I currently earn about a 30% return on PPC, and almost nothing on natural search results.

I have purchased several tools from affiliates of nichebot.com and have yet to be disappointed. Having read a lot of your articles I have come to trust your recommendations and products. Before taking the time to write this answer I did a little homework James Martell and am extremely excited fat a chance for the opportunity to learn what he knows. I really believe if I get the opportunity to follow his techniques that have made him successful I can move my game to the next level.

My goals are very simple; earn a comfortable income from working at home. Work hard, be successful and spend more time at home with my family. I am not afraid of hard work and I don’t believe that working at home will be any easier, just closer. I have been successful as a loan officer and have no reason to believe I will be any less successful marketing my websites. In business I have always picked the best person in my field, took what he or she did, and did it better. I am not afraid to copy success; the most prolific people of our time did exactly that, built on a good idea.

In closing, I believe that who ever gets this free coarse will probably merit it as much as I do. I can only assume, that from your perspective, picking an unmotivated slacker who is unwilling to invest the time and work in the program is the worst thing you could do. I assure you, should you pick me, I will execute the program religiously and be an excellent reference for future perspective clients of the product.

Amanda Risi @ 5:51 pm:

Hi Jim, thank you for this wonderful offer and opportunity!

I have listened to the first session tonight of your free audios and will continue to listen for the rest of the course. I am a complete newbie to online business and online marketing although it is something I have thought about and wanted to do for years! Since getting my first glimpse of internet communications in the days just before the www was established.

I have lots of great ideas (confirmed by friends) for websites to serve people looking to improve their lives or just have fun (…like a site for pre-teens and teens to write and publish their own ebooks with great fonts and graphics selections, etc…) - that's just one of them… I have a daughter in grade 5, and an English partner and we live in a great suburb, Durban North, in Durban, South Africa. This is a beautiful part of the world. We are very lucky to have a great climate nearly all year round.

I have had many setbacks over the past few years (divorce being one… which has often left me in debt and often uprooted us as we sought a safe place to live before the courts finally stepped up to protect us both. Which is where we are now.

I am excited about the opportunity at last to be able to put behind us this past decade of working in low-paid jobs keeping a low profile, moving often; to settle and to earn an income from home doing something I know I will find immensely rewarding, invigorating and fun - I plan to help as many people as I can…! I believe I have insight and intuition.

I need to learn and accomplish an income desperately fast!

Does this make any sense…..? I am sure you hear hundreds if not thousands of similar stories every single week.

I have for the past two months been researching and signing up with a few affiliate marketing programmes. I want to learn EVERYTHING I CAN, as soon as I can, giving all I can.

I also support a local charitable organisation, we visit there each week, helping with support for 1000 children a month. I need to be able to earn again as my savings have been depleted lately not working for the first time in my life since having my little one.

I am sure there are thousands of worthy applicants. I can only hope you will consider ME your best winner and not see the fact that I am in a different country as a barrier…. I will be available when I need to be. Certainly I will give this opportunity 120% effort if I am considered.

Thank you for your time, and again thanks for a great free gift.

Yours in hope,
many blessings
Amanda Risi

Thomas Vilfroy @ 6:10 pm:

I've definitely struggle and have tried to get a business started. It doesn't help that in addition to trying to get a web site up and running, I've fallen for a few "crooked" deals and have lost easily $1-3K due to them. I've had numerous personal health setbacks in my life and that hasn't helped either.

Thus I could use any help that will help my business and take it to heart. And as such I would take what James and Jim (or should I say Jim and James?) say and hopefully be able to ask as to why such and such things work (or don't work) and implement those strategies and topics to my web site. And thus hopefully be able to get my business back on the right track!!!

And as such, it would mean a great deal to me. And thus would give a good personal recommendation that Jim is a top notch person.

Look to working with you,
Thomas Vilfroy

Bob @ 6:36 pm:

Hello:

Thank you for this opportunity.

I guess all I can say is that I need all the help I can get and if I am given a chance with this opportunity will work my butt off in order to make sure the program is a success for you guys and for me.

I am a newbie to all this, 61 years of age and am seeking a way on the internet to build a retirement income. SS is all that is iin my futue at this point and that isn't going to cut it.

If I don't win this then I will do my very best to get to my goal anyway.

Thanks for the chance.

Bob

Daryl Miller @ 6:53 pm:

The reason
I have had James book for a year and have just started to decide to do something with it, i got through the procrastination stage.
Ive used nichebot to discover a great niche and now im putting the pages together and they should be done within a week then i want to start harvesting backlinks.
I'm really desperate to attend this workshop but i dont have the money. im trying to work towards changing my situation for the better against adverse conditions. (im sitting on my floor tpying this :) ) lol.
I would put this course in to practice right away and docment it. This would change my life and give me the extra motivation to keep going.

plus i never win anything! lol

I know i can do this and with a little help it should see me getting there a whole lot quicker. I have spent hours learning all of his materials and getting to grips with new skills…im ready to make some money.

so lets do it!!!!!!

Lynda Failla @ 6:55 pm:

This is the only way I can attend, I have a website that has drained my bank account. I have tried everything anyone has suggested and still very few visitors and NO SALES. I can certainly use the help.
Thanks

Filiberto @ 7:07 pm:

I would love to attend James Martell's Backlinks Workshop with you, Jim! Everyone tells all the time how important it is to get the backlinks from high page rank sites to your site, but nobody tells how to do it. If I would learn how to do this, I know I would get the exposure on Google my sites need to make it big, like you did with Nichebot. Pick me! Pick me! (I feel like a kid at a soccer game… ;-))

Ray James @ 7:41 pm:

Can't wait… The chance to be on this course is like a dream come true. This is a truly awesome and I mean awesome gift. Whoever wins this opportunity is the luckiest guy/girl on the planet. This is like a roadmap to success.
If I was lucky enough to win this place it would completely turnround my internet woes. I am so weary of seeing sites which are no way as good as mine being in front of me. Of sending emails begging for links that never get replied to. Of buying into link services which cost so much and return so little.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed, let the good times roll…

David Jacoby @ 7:54 pm:

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the opportunity to take part in this contest. I sure could use this course, and I'll try to explain why below.

My partner Eric and I run a site that is connected to the dance world. (He's the "face" of the business, and I'm the marketing person behind the scences). Eric is a world-renowned teacher, and at the site, we sell our own instructional dance videos. What we've noticed over the last couple of years is that video sales have decreased a lot. At the same time, the dance instruction market (especially for this type of dance) has gotten A LOT more competitive. It's harder to get teaching gigs now, and they often pay less.

So we really want to focus on getting the online business going strong. We have been working hard to optimize our list and start some good marketing there. We've already had some modest success.

We've tried doing some Pay Per Click advertising, but haven't had much success there, mostly because the market for dance videos is so competitive and I think for a lot of people, they all seem the same (which WE know is not true, of course!).

The thing is, we tend to get almost all of our sales from people who find us in the organic search results at Google. So it seems like the strategy we need to take is to learn how to get better organic search results, and not focus so much on PPC.

We're working hard on creating better content, using good keyword phrases, and writing some articles to submit to eZine Articles, but it just doesn't seem to be getting us where we need to get. I need help with this, and it seems like James's course is really a great opportunity.

So hopefully you'll pick me and I'll learn how to get this figured out. We offer a product that is pretty unique, and is VERY high quality. I think we're definitely sitting on a business that could really go through the roof - if we could just come up in the search rankings.

Thanks again, and I hope to hear from you soon!

Warm Regards,
David Jacoby

Jon Arnold @ 7:55 pm:

nobody on the planet has more motivation and "get-it-done-ness" than me with this part of my Internet business. you already know from my KA forum posts that I am willing to teach and help when I know, and willing to ask when I don't, willing to deploy when I understand, willing to point out if something does not make sense, and above all else, MORE than willing to learn something of value that can take my business to the next level and beyond.

Rooster @ 8:13 pm:

Pick Me!

Why you asked. After a year, literally a year with no work towards my business I have returned to be a force reckoned with.

Following your lead and others on a very popular forum I was able to create a 5 figure part time business for 2005 and 2006. I continually tested, tried and developed strategies using MFA sites.

I'm very planned oriented and take direction well, and create patterns that work for me and others.

Since my year sabbatical, the game has changed and I'm on the fast course to catch up the back link workshop would help the few remaining sites as well as all the new ones I'm working on. Thanks to Jim I'm changing the way "It was done" to the way "It's going to work".

I'll share my success with others and since I don't have any of the new strategies preconceived notions I'm just a sponge ready to suck it all up.

Pick me!

Rooster

PS: This is now my chosen profession and I'm doing this full-time.
PSS: I'm just a really good guy :)

Yvonne Garcia @ 8:28 pm:

To be able to define the amount and types of backlinks I need to compete and beat my SEO clients competitor will mean an immediate huge increase in my income. I am a highly qualified SEO, but I lack the very knowledge taught in the is work shop. How do I determine how many backlinks I need? I can't think of anything more important. I know how to create the backlinks, but what time I will save to work smarter. I already bought the workshop…I couldn't wait. But I would love win this and save the money :-)

Bobbie McKee @ 8:31 pm:

I would love to take Mr. James Martell's 5 Week Backlinks Workshop and apply it to my online business. I've been building up my online business for two years with AdSense sites and now I've recently become unemployed and I'm doing this full-time. I'm very serious about making this work because I have four small children to feed and clothe. I'm currently setting up affiliate sites, http://www.applycreditcardnow.org and http://www.top10webhosts4you.com and need to get great backlinks to these sites and get them to rank high. I know how important backlinks are to a site’s ranking and I’d love to learn from a professional. I'm a very compulsive and dedicated person so it won't be from a lack of dedication and trying if I don't make any money at this. :)

Thanks for the consideration.

Tom Brownsword @ 8:38 pm:

Hi Jim,

OK, I'm a NicheBot / KA member and am currently working my way through James Martell's ebook. I looked up the PAD strategy in the book that James talks about in the salesletter — on track there, too (and let's just say that our KA secret weapon — TG — hasn't hurt here, either!). I've also picked up a few other secrets along the way for picking up backlinks and think I'm already doing pretty good.

So now I'm intrigued. What more could I learn from such a workshop that you two haven't covered already? Both NicheBot and Martell's course are excellent, thorough, and comprehensive. On the other hand, between you and James, if I'm not careful, I just *might* learn something (and if I don't, bring in the jackhammer and turn this rock into gravel…).

In other words, you guys have already taught me a lot — enough that I'm extremely happy with where I am right now. I've learned a lot over the past few months and am working to assimilate this knowledge into my business practices and procedures. Because of this, I hadn't really considered attending the workshop.

However, "Pick Me!" and I will commit to going through it, doing the work, and keeping an open mind to learning — simply because I'd like to see how much more I can learn that I haven't already been able to pick up from your and James' extensive resources. The opportunity to pick up the extras that you are throwing in is more than enough to make me willing to rearrange my schedule on short notice — no problems there. I'll also promise to write up a special report if chosen to let you know if I thought this was worth my time — and why. It will be my gift back to you.

How about it, Jim? Can you improve on the "perfection" that you and James have already delivered? Do you want to work with somebody who is already familiar with what the two of you teach and is putting these lessons into practice? If so, then I'm the one you need to choose to be your special guest. And having met you and talked to you in Chicago back in April (where I also met James Martell — yes, if I'm serious enough about success to sink some serious money into attending live events, then you know that choosing me won't be a waste of your resources), I really would feel "special" and truly would love the opportunity to work with the two of you on this project.

Best regards,
Tom

Heidi Tran @ 9:22 pm:

If I were the winner of the pass to James Martell’s Backlinks workshop, it would definitely change not only my life, but the lives of many others who reached my site.

As I am beginning my online marketing campaign(s), I have just created and posted a new report that tells people how to dramatically increase their clients and sales through their website by following my five tips in the report (consisting of five common mistakes people make with their web copy, and how to fix them to start getting great results). The tips are proven, and are simply based on the time-tested fundamentals of copywriting and good marketing. I’ve gotten great feedback from those I’ve shared the report with.

Before posting my report, I offered it at a networking group to people I'd just met, if they'd give me their cards and write "yes" on the back. I got a great response to this, and a great response from people after they'd read the report. This all took place less than a week ago, and already, several people who got my report have called and expressed interest in becoming my clients. Imagine the possible results if I reached a wider audience! I’d love to get this report out to people via my website!

I’ve just moved from the Midwest to the Boston area. Much of my marketing focus will now be on getting new clients via the Internet, especially since I’ve just moved here, but also because I want to have clients with whom I can work wherever I happen to be.

I’ve long been interested in online marketing involving article writing, blogging, and backlinks, but have not had the time (or, more honestly, the motivation) to go through all the information on my own to figure it out. I would love to participate in this course and have someone “kick my behind” a little to get it done.

Please consider choosing me…I’d love to be able to prove to others how well this works (because I know it does!) and I’d love the opportunity to be the “success story” for your future marketing efforts!

Best,

Heidi

Dennis @ 12:18 am:

I am at a cross roads in my life. Eight years ago my wife left me and it took 7 years to figure out she wasn't coming back. During that time one of the things I got involved with was internet marketing. I had been using the Adsense arbitrage method to build a very modest 500 a month income. Then as the years rolled by I became more and more lonely and eventually met a lady on eHarmony, fell in love and moved to Nebraska to be near her. In the process I lost the drive and interest to continue to build my Virtual Real Estate network. When I first got here she helped but when the Google Slap came along it not only knocked my income for a loop, but knocked the wind and hope out of her that we could build a business together and spend the rest of our lives focusing on each other. It has been very difficult for me to get back on track trying to wade through all the "stuff" and "information" that has come down the pipe. I need a coach, a professional at this to help restore her confidence in this as a business that can provide for us in our golden years. We are in our fifties and have plenty of time left to grow our business and give back to those who are in need of help as we are right now. Thank you for the opportunity to tell our story.

Dennis

Tamee @ 12:23 am:

I have been writing online at Associated Content off and on for six months now. I used to work as a Certified Nurses Assistant and injured my back. I had a failed back surgery just after I went back to finish my BS in Phychology (hoping to teach at a university) and haven't been able to finish my education.

Taking care of my health was difficult on my relationship so I ended up splitting up with my husband/best friend just over a year ago leaving me with 4 children and $601 a month income.

I signed up for Social Security Disability so that I would have an income to provide for myself and my children but with my age (35 when I filed) and my education (20 credits shy of a BS at BYU) I was immediately denied and I have been fighting it since then.

Basically, I have decided to take my life in my own hands. I have children who are learning how to deal with the road blocks in life from me and I need to teach them to take one step at a time and never give up. There aren't free rides in life but occasionally others give you a lift here and there when you need it. As long as you remember to give back when you are able it is okay to take those rides. When you forget to give back when you can life becomes a really big nightmare.

I don't want to live a nightmare. I want to be able to find a way to make money to support my family, get off of all types of "Public Assistance" (currently we live on child support and food stamps–I qualify for "welfare" but I declined it–I'm sure someone else needs it more than I do).

Any help I can get to learn how to be successful with my websites (not looking really great right now) and my traffic to my writing (I get paid a tiny amount for page views at http://AssociatedContent.com/tamee ) would be put to use to help me and my four children get our lives back.

I decided earlier this month I am going to start a few blog sites, each in a certain niche that I know something about, and I am going to write for Associated Content and on my blogs. I am going to link the sites together and perhaps add afiliate links where appropriate. I am going to also add google ads on my blogs. I am hoping to get ranked high enough that having a handful of blogs that I add content to weekly and writing 10 articles a day for Associated Content will bring in enough money to move out of low income housing (not a place to raise my kids and not a place I am used to living!) and get a home of our own. I would also like to be able to purchase decent clothing for my kids.

I don't plan to get rich, I just want to get comfortable. I was always at the top of my class in college (even though I was going through my first divorce and raising 3 daughters and working full-time when I started)/ I held a 4.0GPA for nearly 2 years (I graduated with an AA in Psychology/Math with a GPA of 3.92).

I am willing to put my all into this, I just can't afford to pay for the course.

Thanks,
Tamee

I am transitioning from old media (TV) to new media (internet). I've been online since the late 80s, but am finally focusing like I should. My site is http://www.jokestarter.com, which is targeted at helping comedy writers, comedians, DJs, producers, bloggers and others come up with joke and bit ideas. I update the site 2-5 times per day. I've been "dugg" once (670+ diggs for a video I posted two weeks ago). On average I get 200-500 unique visitors per day. Yet my conversion rate on Adsense is .68%. Basically I'm making just pennies a day and would like to make more. Am developing some original e-books and affiliate ventures w/comedy-related stuff but could use some guidance. Thanks in advance for your consideration, Scott Schaefer (http://wwwjokestarter.com; resume at http://www.scottso.net)

Charles @ 1:16 am:

Jim,

I will apply this knowledge to my website and future websites in order to better my financial situation; help my family with each individual problem that they are going through and help out my community as well. Please, aloud me to explain, 4 years ago I had to leave; run away; from where I was living due to a kidnap attempted to my family. Believe me is no fun, after seeing a good friend of mine being kidnapped for 2 weeks and luckily he came back alive and relatively healthy with no missing organs but very very skinny and with lots of psychological problems. Also, there are no words to describe the suffering that his family went through until he came back. So, literally, I run away for my family’s sake with out thinking twice about my finances. Now, I’m starting anew; with lots of bills to pay and problems to solve with no real income. So, is it not only for passion and excitement that I’m doing this, I’m doing this is for necessity as well. People in life go through different ups and downs periods, but in my case, I was forced to go through a down period. Now is the time to look forward, surpass my hurdles of problems and accomplish the financial stability that is due. I owe it to my self due to the hard decisions that I was confronted with and I owe it to my family so they could have the quality of life that they deserve. It is amazing what a human being is capable of doing in behalf of his family. And after my experiences, I also want to help the less fortunate in my community. I know this is doable, it just take time and effort to find the right strategies, tools and the right medium to accomplish the goal. I hope I’m the lucky one in order to accomplish these goals in much faster way.

Thank you,

Charles

Getting a website up and running is the easy part, getting traffic is the challenge. It is so competitive, I am beginning to wonder if it is possible to get picked up by the search engines. Struggling with all the knowlwdge out there and the rapid changes.

Dave @ 5:27 am:

If I won, it would make a big difference. It would increase our traffic & allow my wife to finally take a wage after 8 years in business.

Thanks for the chance.

Best wishes

Dave

Richard Smith @ 7:06 am:

Hi Jim,

First of all, thanks for this opportunity.

I am continually struggling with the beast called "TRAFFIC" and I would take this information to use in promoting and building awareness of an e book that i am currently promoting.

The book has sold 8 copies in the last two months with only 6 to 10 visitors per day to the site. I have already put my on page optimisation in place (I used what i have learnt from some ecourses to do this)

So as you can see from the number of visitors, I am thinking if only i could improve my traffic tenfold then what would the sales be like. And what if i could improve the traffic by 20,50 or even 100 times as much.

I know backlinks are key and it is the right thing to do but i have not found anywhere on the net which gives you a step by step blueprint of how to use them and how to build a system to use them. I'll take your link in your post and use the basic links course you mentioned

As well as my own site I also want to help my sister who has an autistic son, her peer group have set up a website and they need to get awarenes of the problem with Autism out to a bigger audience.

So I would not just use this information and training to help myself but also to help others.

Good luck to everyone who has posted

Kind Regards

Richard

I have no doubt in my mind that If I got the opportunity to attend this workshop, I'll make the very best of it, and that it will take me to new heights in my quest to earning an income online.

You see, the field of Internet marketing is saturated with information, some good and some not so good. Anyone wanting to learn how to set up a profitable online business will have no shortage of information if we look for it. However, the problem is precisely "saturation". The information is abundant, but not organized, which can make it very confusing, and leave us in daze.

I'll not post a sad story here, but it suffices to say that I would not spend in excess of 40 hours a week online reading tons of e-books and reports, and subscribing to the mailing lists of anyone I think I can learn a thing or two from, If I did not urgently need to find a way to supplement my current income through some profitable websites.

Having an extremely limited budget to work with, I need to focus all my attention into learning how to generate organic traffic to my sites. Right now, there's no way I could afford to join any of the
marketing coaching programs that I see offered online, but I know that one of my biggest challenges is not having a blueprint to follow, ( I'm trying to take the pieces of information I get here and there to develop my own blueprint) and not having a support system, or person I can go to ask for simple guidance.

Let's take backlinking as an example. I've read a lot about the importance of backlinks, what kinds I should target, how to get them … etc; however, I don't have a clue how to set up backlinks on my site, and I've not found the answer anywhere.

This is just a tiny example of why winning a pass to the James Martell's 5 Week Backlinks Workshop would be literally an answered prayer for me, the kind of step-by-step guided learning from an expert I've been praying to come my way, and one I'd not
waste If I got it.

In conclusion, I believe everyone who applies for this prize, is as deserving of it as I am, and wish everyone the best. However, I believe this is my opportunity, this is something I've been prying
for a couple of months now. This may sound funny to some, but every morning when I fire up my computer, I send the thought out into cyber space for the right people, and learning opportunities
to come knocking at my screen, and I believe this is one answer to my many prayers.

Than you for the chance to win a VIP pass to this workshop.

Jim, I have been online now for almost two years. Since that time I have take my website www.thedoctoristhin.com and www.weightlosschronicles.com (my blog) to the first page of google for a variety of keywords. A major strategy that I used was backlinks. I will make my best effort to implement all the strategies, as I want to be making a full time income by the end of the year. I am half way there and need a little more help and coaching. I am an entrepreneur by heart and have the drive and determination to make it work. I am determined, patient with lots of energy to make things happen. I am the guy who would like to be a story for you. The guy who went from nothing to something, just by implementing strategies I learned from real life mentors. I have unsubscribed from many lists and keep yours because of the value of information I receive. I am slowly climbing out of the depths of money bankruptcy with little efforts everyday that are resulting in more and more income that is turning passive and need that extra little push to help me along. You have my written and verbal word that I will commit to using the backlinks seminar and creating a story for you and your list for months to come. Thanks for the hard work that you do.

Carla @ 9:34 am:

I am in a business where they typical "converted" client believes that if you build a website, the traffic will come so considerable time is invested in conving them that this is not so. Clients are small business on a shoe string budget and getting them to even think of using PPC such as Adwords is another challenge in itself. The increasing over inflation of PPC keyword is becoming less of an incentive to attract targeted traffic when operating on small budget.

This leaves SEO and getting ranked keywords relevant to your business using SEO we all know is extremely competitive.

The challenge therefore is to seek opportunities to really give clients value for their money. I am alway open to ideas and techniques that will assist me in developing my clients businesses.

The use of clients should by no means indicate that I have a a string of clients waiting and lining up for my service. When you are an up coming company with little experience behind you name people at not willing to take the chance on you and at times it is frustrating trying to get that one client to beleive so you can finally make that break through.

But, I remain hopeful. I am in it for the long run. Like alot of you I have spent money or products that did not deliver what I believed they promised. On the other hand I have made some great investments in my SEM education.

I know that this break through will come and my belief in serving clients honestly will see me through. Frankly, I rather worry about where the next months rent is coming from then to offer a product I know within me is bad or substandard. Thats my business conviction and I know it will carry me through, sooner rather than later.

If you can provide me with the knowledge and skill to better help my clients and distinguish my self from my competitors I will be grateful.

All the best.

I cannot lie - When it comes to online marketing - The lingo is more often than not, over my head. I have seen many, many people make money on the Internet and have always wondered how on earth they did it or are doing it. Since signing up with you and receiving your updates - My understanding has grown in leaps and bounds. The very fact that you are using this "Blog" to get input in the form of a competition with a great reward shows that you have fully grasped the concept and have it well under control.

By learning from you directly, the gaps in my understanding can be filled and I can hopefully take my business to the next level. I grew up in a very tough environment, no fatherly love (Abusive to the extreme), most of my school life in boarding school living in England, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, South Africa and now Canada. I have seen the worst of people and the best. I built my current business from hard work, dedication and a drive to excel and succeed. Because of my back ground, I am driven to prove that it can be done. The "It" being that when you set your mind to something and you go for it - There is no possible way that you can fail.

I have already applied some of the techniques that you have given to a few of the web sites that I have designed and am ready to take this up a notch or two. Thank you for your updates, the countless free advice sessions and the willingness to help "us" grow our businesses.

DIANA @ 10:27 am:

Thank you for the opportunity to try to win this program. I have had my website up and running for going on two years and have not had a sale yet. I have been told by many who look at it that is a great website; but, of course; if i pay them this much and that much they can help me out. Right now, I am paying a lot each month for this site and have been burned by many programs I tried out. I know that if I win this, I will certainly be able to get this website working and on the way to making money instead of just paying out like I am doing now.

Thank you,
Diana B

Bob Schnurr @ 11:35 am:

Thank you for this opportunity. My wife and I have two small children ages 3 and 1. We have 5 goals in starting an internet marketing business:
1. To be together during the day
a. To experience the excitement of successful internet marketing campaigns together.
b. Through internet marketing, help to inspire others to become healthier, happier and more family-oriented.
2. To raise our children together (sense of urgency, the 3 year-old will be in school within a year or two).
3. To grow the business into a family-based business where we can pass on these values to our children.
4. To be financially independent to afford:
a. Good education for our children.
b. To have a comfortable retirement.
c. To travel as a family to teach our children world history and to expose them to as many cultures as possible.
d. To set up a retirement fund for a relative who is unable to support himself and is now charity-dependant. I want to build him a home with care so that he will know something more than institutional living.
5. To use our independence and wealth to:
a. Donate money to hard working charities and to scientific research to find cure for leukemia.
b. Donate time and effort in working in church, school, hospital (occupational therapy + leukemia/cancer victims).
Internet marketing to achieve the above 5 goals is our passion and our reason for waking up in the morning. We want to avoid the 3-hour per day commute (1.5 each way) everyday on a crowded Interstate so that we can be together every day as a family. My attempt at bulleting the goals is to keep it short, concise, to get my thoughts across and to convey my passion, excitement and sense of urgency to build a successful and thriving family internet marketing business. We are committed and willing to work hard for our success!

Hi Jim,

I'll toss my hat in the ring as well. My current website, Healing Combinations, is actually my wife's business. This site and it's siblings Healing Combinations for Pets, Plants and Kids is all about healing the planet one person at a time through alternative medicine. Currently, using PPC, the cost of the advertising increases the cost of the product almost prohibitively making it difficult for some who really need the product to get it.

I'm interested in taking these concepts, along with great tools like yours, to the next level and helping other clients to benefit. Scavo's, my company, is about helping people achieve excellence in their business and their lives. I see these tools and techniques as paramount in making this happen.

Thanks for considering me.

As an active subscriber to Nichebot2 and owner of many other of your products, I truly appreciate every resource you bring our way. Winning a free course with James Martell would of course be like receiving the juiciest cherry from your bowl of many that you so often pass around! Jim, I am sure you always have a huge smile on your face as a result of watching those who enjoy and savor the prize fruit from your award winning trees.

Backlinking is definitely one of your juiciest cherries! If somehow I miss this bowl being passed, you have shown me the tree it came from, and it is a gigantic one. After 12 noon I am going to climb to the top and pick a ripe one from the highest branch. I just gotta have a cherry from your tree even if I have to pick it myself.

Sam Novak @ 1:22 pm:

Hi James,
Yes, I will gladly apply this information to my website because I really need it. After spending hours and hours of time creating this website I have learned that in order to get ranked I need to write articles and have them published on article directories. I'm not a fan of writing articles. Your Backlinks Workshop has the solution to getting my website traffic . If I could afford to I would have purchased it already. If you feel like it's time to pay back I would greatly appreciate it.

sincerely,

Sam

I thought about my reasons for wanting to win this contest but they pale in comparison to many other people's needs. I have a good life, an education and a wonderful wife, children and grandchildren. Just want to give them more. Don't we all? But I stopped reading the other entries when I got to Tamee's. Give it to her. I'll find another way. Best regards, Paul.

Website Backlink Breakthough! Techniques So Simple Even
a Recovering Politician Finally Gets it "Right".

Thanks to Jim Morris - Nichebot & James Martell - Backlink Mini Series They were able to teach an Ex City Councilman how to get a niche website into Top Ten Rankings in the Search Engines. He hated the "backbiting", but is LOVING the "backlinking".

I'm am so excited to be in something so interesting and enjoyably as getting ranked in the search engines. Using a killer combination of Nichebot and Backlink training I am busting at the seams ready to launch a winning campaign!

Nielson/NetRatings has issued a study showing that the top 10 social networking sites saw traffic grow 47% over the last year, with MySpace seeing the biggest growth (367% increase) and MSN Spaces (286%) seeing the biggest growth. Hosted blogging systems were included in the study.

One thing to note about those numbers is that while Classmates had one of the lowest positive growth rates at 10%, they spend loads on advertising while MySpace, Youtube, and Facebook haven't spent a penny.

If I recall correctly, a couple years ago Classmates.com was one of the 10 largest spenders on online advertising.

There are plenty of new social networking sites poping up but what get's me why can't myspace there instant messenger working. $580 mill and can't afford to fix instant messenger BAD myspace.
There are so many better ones how about http://cubiclelife.net for example has all the features of myspace plus quizzes, polls, webchat with audio and video oh and hey they have instant messenger. You have a long way to go myspace.

Anyone know if this freebie will be repeated again? I always wanted to check out James Martell live. I got my start with his ebook many many years ago.

Roberto Flores @ 5:36 pm:

I don't read everything 100%, but I understant that to success with Online Business it is very important to get the
right keyword and next the right Niche to get enough traffic, this is one of the best way to increase the traffic to the Website and at the same time increase the Sales and that means MONEY FOR THE POCKET.
Roberto Flores

Kevin @ 9:30 am:

I followede James Martell's advice back in 2004 and initially had some success by following his strategies. However, his ideas on site structure and keyword density backfired when Google chanched their ranking algorithm and all my sites disappeared. I then switched to SiteBuildIt! (SBI) and it's been a success story since then
