Just the other day, I was feeling sick and felt a cold coming on, so I told my wife I was heading over to Jamba Juice in Oceanside, California, to pick up a fresh juice drink they call a Cold Buster.

And the Cold Buster did just that — it kicked my cold in the you know what! So no doubt, I’m feeling a whole lot better as I write this to ya.

However, we are not gathered here today to talk about fresh juice drinks.

Rather, while I was standing in line at Jamba Juice waiting for the cashier to take my order, I was thinking about how important it is to have what I call Marketing Awareness (an awareness of the marketing tactics that are employed not only online, but offline in traditional businesses). It’s been a while since our last regular newsletter as most of the recent communications have been private subscriber only specials.
