Hey Jim, in regards to building backlinks with keyword hyperlinks, obviously leaving comments is one part of the strategy, right?
Ok. What mutual effect does this type of activity have on the site/blog you're actively commenting on?

So if I understand your recommendations correctly, I should be looking for blogs that feature content on strategic planning, business planning, strategic plan execution and , and leaving appropriate comments linked back to my consulting website and blog content, right?

Hey Jim, i've been getting backlinks all over but the SE's don't seem to find them and i don't know why. The website has only been up a few months not even in the top 100,000 but i don't give up. Backlinks do work i've seen them on the top sites.

Yes, you are right and you hit the nail on the head. But in addition, to this many blogs owners someone don't welcome comments with hyperlinks on thier blogs.
