Many people today are asking themselves… “is there mail on veterans day?”

And that is a really great question that I asked myself today.  (No seriously, I did — and am not just trying to read people’s minds here).

So the first thing I did was, I went and look up the U.S.P.S’s schedule by typing in the following search on Google:  usps holiday schedule veterans day.

Low and behold, good ol’ Google gave me in the top two results as follows:

1.  Link to the News Release:  USPS Veterans Day Holiday Schedule

2.  Link to the 2010 USPS Federa Holiday Schedule to confirm that Veteran’s Day is observed this year.

So now that you know it is safe to assume you will NOT be getting any mail today.

However, now would be a good time to refuel on your supply of stamps and get ready for the holiday.

I would highly recommend that if you have a printer at home that you just print your postage through the internet by signing up for a FREE Stamps.com postal account.
