QUESTION
------------------------------------------------------
I cannot find this answer anywhere, and I’ve searched for it.
The Wordtracker search counts -- the number of times the keyword
was searched - is that daily or monthly?
Same for the Keyword Discovery search counts - are the search
results for daily searches or monthly searches?
ANSWER

Hi Christine,
Here's the answer and explanation you need:
WordTracker's data goes back 100 days worth of
data which amounts to approximately 330 million
keywords.
That REGULAR COUNT we give is that 100 day
period that a keyword appears in their database.
There's another column (number) we also give
called the "Predicted Daily" figure. That's
is based on a formula that WordTracker uses
which is right here:

or click this ====> WordTracker Predicted Daily Search Count explained
Next, Keyword Discovery always has at least 1
year of data stored in their database.
So once again, the search results for each keyword
are what appears in their database over a 12 month
period -- and sometimes -- depending on the
database -- we give you a Predicted Daily figure or
a 12 month average count column.
a. The Predicted Daily figure is using a formula
that Keyword Discovery is aware of.
b. The 12 month average count column is for the
Global - Historical database (their older database)
which is simply the search count divided by 12 to
give you an average.
